Tossing Babies’ Photos in the Trash: THIS FEELING IS SO EXQUISITE!
So we woke up early today and got a head start on the day. Jenny had powerful experiences yesterday tossing out the remaining things she THOUGHT were dear to her, which in fact, were not. Now down to 5% of her previous possessions, everything she does have is a treasured memory, the tapestry upon which a life of the ages is woven. THIS FEELING IS SO EXQUISITE only as Gods do we know such creation! Hallelujah!
I love this!!! However, I must admit, I DO have one thing that I just can't bring myself to toss out: BOOKS! Books, BOOKS, BOOOOOOKSSSSS! I love my books, and just can't bring myself to get rid of them. I lend 'em out, give 'em away, but I have this large (and constantly growing) library. Please, any advice? Don't say e-books, please, 'cuz (next to reading/re-reading them) the thing I love most about books is their feel/smell/heft. I guess you could say their “realness”….I try not to feel so bad about the huge quantity of books I own, 'cuz I DO share them w/everybody, but I wish I could feel less possessive/needful of them…
What would you suggest?
