So true… that's totally how I ended up living and working in Korea with Amber.
I just knew i wanted to come see her and bought a ticket… when the funds presented themselves.
It actually worked out great, it gave me the impetus to quit the low paying but experiencially gratifying job cooking that had been limiting my options. While at the same time i was able to give the restraunt owner some honest feedback about her friend's poor management style when i found out i was going to be given an undeserved “talking to” when i returned from a road trip with my dad.
