Otis Goes to Bali: My Friend Victoria and My Best Day Ever

I met her at the hotel where the workshop was. She’s a doctor from England and we hit it off immediately. We ended up playing the imagine a day in your dream life game because I noticed she was focusing a lot on what she didn’t want.

She absolutely loved the game and her enthusiasm just started spiraling outward from that point forward. She thanked me deeply later and that felt great. And then she gifted me by asking about my dream day. And here’s how it went:

I wake up in the Venice Canals. I’m on the second floor and my wall is all glass looking out on the canal. There is a curtain for privacy and the room is super decorated with primary colors and tribal stuff and trippy stuff and it just oozes me. But someone else did it all. I just walked into it already setup. I out on my awesome clothes which are so soft and comfortable and are covered in geometry and designed and given to me by good friends. I come out to the living room/kitchen loft area and VV is there already finishing making breakfast. It’s another blowout meal that tops the last which I thought was untoppable. She has become well known as the best raw food chef in LA. My roommates are also up and they are fucking pumped and awesome. All amazing working artists and Burning Man people and just so smart and attractive and alive and excited and crazy and raw foodists.

We all decide to be a little crazy and race to the beach and strip down and go skinny dipping to connect with some water in the morning. We come back and have a big group cuddle massage with liberal amounts of coconut oil and natural oils and perfumes being applied to hair and backs and arms and legs.

Then VV and I jet over on my pimped out scooter to Urth for a meeting with our producer. The movie is financed and we’re choosing DPs and crew and picking cast. All the top people (Pitt, Clooney, Lange, Streep, etc) want in and we have some tough calls to make and some meetings to work out.

That finishes and I get horny. VV and I have some vigorous sex and then i feel like performing so I head over to the boardwalk and go to town.

People are blown away by my energy and my dancing and my performance and they’re shocked and awed and crying and laughing (thank you ayahuasca for the inspiration) and literally throwing money at me and writing checks and doing anything in their power to give me some money. One woman comes up and says I’ve never seen anything remotely like that and hands me a 100 dollar bill.

I’m feeling great and I head over to the Farmer’s Market for a few baskets of berries and head home and there’s like 7 people at the house having a surprise pot luck. We go to town and someone shows up with some THC-infused raw coconut ice cream and wow life is good.

Oh shit I’m late for rehearsal! I hop on the scooter and fly at top speeds down alleys and back streets all the way downtown and show up at rehearsal for one of the 3 groups I’m involved with. Rehearsal is awesome. Super productive and hugs and love all around. Someone mentions a good friend’s band is playing tonight so I jet over there after rehearsal and get on stage and rock the party for about 20 minutes then head home.

As I’m getting on the scooter I get a call from my agent and he has booked me for a Robot Rabbi bar mitzvah gig paying top $ this week end and there is a festival in Paris that wants me to go over there for a few days and do my one-man show and teach some workshops on memoir improv and spirituality. They say they’ll fly me first class and 5 star with raw gourmet all the way. They really want me to come over!

Then I’m a little beat and I head home and VV is just starting to watch a Fellini movie she wanted me to see and we snuggle and spoon and slowly doze off merging back into the non physical.

Ahhhhhhhhh it feels so good I can feel it coming!
