Boogaloo 101 is in my mind the best way for the average person, with no previous introduction to boogaloo or popping to get in real deep on the foundation of what makes the Electric Boogaloo style dance. What I bring to the table is the fact that I come from a background where this dance is not naturally in me. I really had to learn it. So I have really learned everything in a way that I can share it. I know how to teach it.
Ain’t that some shit.
so jenny and i were in bath, england in the summer of 2009. we were just finishing up a summer of living in europe which was both as glamorous as it sounds and also quite difficult emotionally. we had just spent 2 weeks at the crop circles and were spending the last 2 days at ...gimme more
We reconnected our Sacred Breath circuits on Day 3 and I lost the desire to smoke. I am increasingly feeling the sacredness of my breath. Powerful work this is.
I left a book I finished reading in the room of the hostel I was staying in Gevena. Another fab gift to someone. makes me feel so good that I’m gifting to the world at large. Some lucky person is going to enjoy a free gift. Haha! It’s a good thing to do! yay!
If we’re talking about learning isolation, I really think there is no better place to start than with finger pivots. The simple reason is that you can actually SEE the quality of your isolation with your own eyes. This is a very rare thing. Usually, you need the assistance of a mirror or video camera, ...gimme more
Jenny got to Hawaii and was in a very contemplative mode. We are here cleaning out her mother’s house. Her mother passed away a few months ago. This song went a little haywire. The original idea was that it would be a back-and-forth between me and Jenny. I rapped her parts as a placeholder but they ended up just staying up because our schedules never matched for us to get together and record her vocals. It’s too bad… But I think it ...gimme more

Now, you’ve got not only tutting but finger tutting, not only waving but snaking, cobra, liquid, and digits, and not only popping but strutting, banging, and boogalooing. ...gimme more
So we woke up early today and got a head start on the day. Jenny had powerful experiences yesterday tossing out the remaining things she THOUGHT were dear to her, which in fact, were not. Now down to 5% of her previous possessions, everything she does have is a treasured memory, the tapestry upon which ...gimme more
It’s the first move everyone wants to learn, and it’s usually the first thing people will ask you if you can do. It’s…. the MOONWALK.
The Age of Spiritual Machines by Ray Kurzweil aka Singularity Kurzmeyer I had just dropped out of college when I read an article called “Why The Future Doesn’t Need Us.” This article introduced me to things that I had never even considered–namely, that the exponential growth of technology was leading humanity into some pretty unimaginable ...gimme more
