Jenny & Otis Fight, The Spiritual Meaning of Arthritis, Jumping Into the Unknown, and a Father-Sky, Mother Earth Meditation

In today’s episode we cover:

-one of our fights
-the spiritual meaning of arthritis
-the jump factor (jumping into the unknown)
-father sky, mother earth meditation
-universal telepathy

So this is our first podcast. We are very excited to be doing this as it feels like our creative energy can move forward now. The idea behind this is that we’ll just let it evolve.

We’ll get better and more interesting and develop a format as time goes on, but the most important thing is to actually DO IT.

We had a whole plan today on what we were going to talk about. Jenny was going to talk about the Jump Factor–which is a Funkmeyer-ism for jumping into the unknown. Then I would talk about just going for it, in the sense of making things happen–the idea being that shoot first, aim later is the most effective way of getting things done. After that, Jenny would talk about the spiritual meaning of arthritis and what an angel had told her about letting go and holding on. Finally, we would do a Mother Earth-Father Sky meditation a qi gong master had taught Jenny recently.

Then life happened.

The day got strange and Jenny got emotional and I got mad and we had an interview and I wasn’t interviewed and everything seemed off and I wanted to die and then it got more weird and then we did one take and Jenny rambled and I said things she wasn’t into and everything spiraled downward.

We started fighting and she said YOU SHOULD JUST RECORD THIS (ASS HOLE) and I said WELL FINE (FUCKER) I WILL!

And I hit record.

And then this happened.

It’s very real.

We quite like it.

We don’t want to pretend that we have anything figured out or that we’re a perfect couple. We just want to be real. And we think we’re off to a good start! And we covered all of our topics much more synchronistically.

Anyway, we love you. Truly!
WE LOVE YOU!

each time i get something from y'all i'm thinki9ng, 'jesus god, why am i watching these people, they're so effin' corny'- and yet i gotta admit, i'm moved and cheered by it every damn time. i LOVED the fight- it was so petulant, so real- and reminded me that fights don't HAVE to be destructive things to grip on to and hold inside. carry on, y'all- and actually, i prob'ly love you, too.

I had another fight with Otis last night and was sitting here, to quote you, “grip on to and holding inside”… your letter made me smile again. Yes, yes, fights doesn’t HAVE to be destructive things but a chance to make life grand! Large! Good! Magical! Thanks for the reminder, man.
