Introducing...
Jenny
I was born on November 6th, 1953 in Hong Kong, my Chinese name Hsu Da Chin, means Slow Big Happy. In my inner core I can feel myself a big sea turtle swimming slowly and happily in the seven seas. I came to America to attend The Juilliard School and received a BFA in Dance in 1979. I danced two years on Broadway in "The King & I" with Yul Brynner. Then I got dazzled by Hollywood, went to UCLA Film School, got my MFA in filmmaking in 1989. I directed two feature films, "Pale Blood" (for HBO) about a vampire seeking his own kind and "Journey From The Heart", about three generations of a Chinese American family on vacation in a motorhome, it's available on Netflix. Besides making movies, I also managed my own rental properties and raised two daughters.
I'm intensely interested in health and healing. During my time as a filmmaker, I documented the journey of a woman with stage 4 cancer through her trials with alternative healing techniques; I interviewed Lynne McTaggart ("The Field"), Don Miguel Ruiz ("Four Agreements") and James Redfield ("The Celestine Prophecy"). I documented Papa Joe and his family of Maori healers for New Zealand's TV 3 and was an eyewitness to miracle healings. I did research in Radionics with Linda Lancaster, Lutie Larsen and Peter Moscow; and NLP with Robert McDonald.
I'm a lucid dreamer and practice the Tibetan Dream Yoga technique of Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming. I studied with lucid dreaming pioneer Dr. Stephen La Berge. My interests in channeled material have led me to deeply immerse myself in the teachings of Seth, Abraham, and the Starseed Transmissions. I'm a devoted fan of Bashar, a channeled ET who teaches new ways of understanding how this 3-dimensional reality is created and constructed. I'm a Remote Viewer, having learned first-hand from SRI co-founder Russell Targ. I've led spoon-bending parties and remote viewing workshops in Burning Man, Paris, London and many parts of America. I've studied alongside crop circle researcher Michael Glickman and has traveled to Wiltshire, England four times to do research and has camped overnight in numerous crop circles.
I've had many close encounters with the spirit world and have been called on to be a medium numerous times to help bridge communication between the physical and non-physical realms. I've worked with psychic healer and medium Jane Katra. I've gone on three Ayahuasca medicine journeys with Peruvian shaman Juan Golden Eagle, and was a shaman's apprentice on other journeys as well.
On February 9th, 2007 I met Mr. Otis Funkmeyer, we got into a cosmic dance. Together we cut our hair, changed our names, throw out 80% of our stuff, became cyclists, food growing folks, street performers, bloggers, writers, teachers, travelers of this and other realms, met with aliens, monsters and ghosts in our minds, saw the crop circles, brought matching hats in Tallinn, ate noni in Bali, gone 100% raw then vegan then started eating turkeys but now not, fought bitterly with each other and many other people, quit and make up several thousand times.... In this man, I've met the one who is diametrically opposed and at the same time a mirror of my soul. We're married on 11/11/11 at 11:11am in the Funkmeyer Garden. The rest is not history the rest is still happening.... Stay tuned!
Otis
Otis Funkmeyer is the kind of guy you just can’t help but love. Born and raised in Arundel, Maine, just minutes from the Bush enclave, he shares the given first name George with two former presidents of the United States. He grew up in the country on a farm and loved sports and math and computers.
Around age 18, he had an epiphanal experience that life was not all it was cracked up to be—that he had been sold a bill of goods that he was no longer satisfied with. He got most of his money back and headed out on his own into the hinterlands.
He became a dancer and a dreamer and an explorer of the things on the outer edges of reality and he started wondering, is any of this even real? Is this anything more than a projection of my consciousness, all fractaled out in such a way to be crisp and sharp and ultra-high-def, to make me forget that I’m the thing making it?
He discovered that, yes, in fact, he was the one making it, and said, ok, let’s really get this thing cooking.
9 days later he met Jenny Funkmeyer and together they have begun to weave a story for the ages: a story of breaking free, of believing in oneself, of trusting in the immense power of this thing we call life, of knowing the benevolence of the light, and of leaping into a new reality, where love reigns supreme, and we frolic and play and breakdance all day and then eat some coconut ice cream.
Otis loves life, even though it sometimes feels incredibly painful to be experiencing it, and wants to really get to the bottom of the whole thing, to explore beyond where anyone else has ever explored, and to bring back something of such immense beauty that the whole world just wells up with tears and holds hands and has a big laugh and a big cry together.
Otis loves group hugs too. And Jenny. A lot.
